The story

From Vilnius to Elmhurst.

I arrived in the United States for good in 2003, after finishing my degree at Vilnius University. My first real job in financial services was at Prudential Financial, where I spent 2.5 years learning the business. I sat with families. I helped them understand what they actually owned, and what they didn't.

What I kept seeing — over and over — was that immigrant families like mine were buying pieces. An auto policy from one place. A small term policy somewhere else. A retirement account they didn't fully understand. Nobody was putting it all together for them, and nobody was explaining what could happen if life didn't go the way they planned.

I opened Goodwill Financial to do that. To be the agency that asks the harder questions. To make sure that when life happens — and it always does — the families I work with still have options.
